We’ll support you in meeting your Revalidation requirements
We provide a clinical induction for all our clinical new starters along with access to a range of individual clinically focused study days such as intravenous cannulation, venepuncture, IV drug administration, to name but a few. With the launch of the Apprenticeship Levy in 2017, we are now able to offer qualifications via the apprenticeship route through national and higher level apprenticeships. Please refer to the apprenticeship page for what's on offer to you.
This can be extremely helpful and informative and take many forms e.g. reading books, relevant journals, observing others at work and attending meetings. All departments areas have access to the internet and all members of staff have access to the library resources at both hospital sites.
Learning within the workplace
This can be done through a variety of methods including clinical supervision, Mentorship, critical incident analysis and peer review, to name but a few.
