The purpose of a TNA is to gather information from each service area so that we can get an overview of the learning needs of all staff across the Trust. By having a joined up approach between departments and sites we can understand what common themes are required Trust-wide making it easier to plan training and development programmes, allocate budgets, provide training to those who need it as a priority, and make the whole process easier and fairer. By understanding the full needs of the Trust we can also look at alternative ways of getting more staff through sessions and have a better buying power with external training providers.
