So, why not start off with a few changes, small promises to yourself that will help keep that fabulousness going throughout the year!
Not all resolutions involve ‘going the gym’, ‘diet’, ‘avoiding my manager’ etc., some resolutions that can make a difference to your health and wellbeing involve feeling mentally good about yourself, doing an ‘act of kindness’, making someone smile. Of course, there are the physical resolutions and here at S&O we have the return of the WAG which involves teamwork and healthy lifestyle approach to physical health which will in turn support good mental health. Making time at home too to meet friends, do things you enjoy, feel good about you!
So, will you join us? Just ring ext 6872 and ask for a ‘Resolutions Card’ and send your completed cards to Staff Health and Wellbeing, Ormskirk.
The HWB nurses will also be doing a ‘drop in’ to departments in the New Year inviting people to join. Add a contact email or address to your Resolutions card and we will contact you each month for an update and see how you’re getting on. Of course, your information will be confidential and nothing shared without your consent.
Be sure to add to your resolution list a good mixture of resolutions, things that will help you physically of course, but don’t forget … warm fuzzys’! Things that make you feel all warm and fuzzy, doing something that makes someone elses day, you feel like you have made a difference, not only at work, at home too.
