a warm Welcome to our new students...

On behalf of the Practice Education Facilitator (PEF) Team, welcome to Southport & Ormskirk NHS Trust.

We hope that you enjoy your time here at Southport & Ormskirk NHS Trust and that your experiences provide you with valuable learning opportunities. Along with your mentor, clinical and practice education facilitator, we are here to ensure you have an outstanding clinical placement experience.

Should you have any health related issues/concerns that require support during your clinical placement, it is your responsibility to inform your supervisor/mentor.

You can talk to any of the following for support during your clinical placement:
  • Your mentor/clinical educator/practice educator/work based assessor
  • Your Ward Manager/Line Manager
  • Practice Education Facilitator
  • Education and Development staff
