SO Proud Conversations

The Trust wants to ensure that is has as many ways as possible for staff to keep an ongoing open conversation between all staff and the Board so that together we can make Southport & Ormskirk NHS Trust a great place to work...

We have been facilitating #SOProud ‘Big Conversations’ and ‘Big Brews’ throughout 2019 and are continuing to engage in these ways into 2020. We regularly post on the Meeting Place and via Trust News with upcoming events. Click here to see our scheduled Big Brew dates

We are also developing a refreshed values behavioural framework, so that our SCOPE values are meaningful for all of us. We want to hear YOUR views and ideas about how each of the values can be demonstrated in our everyday professional lives. We want to know what each of the values 'looks like'. There is a mini survey here - please tell us what you think.

Following on from the results of the recent annual NHS Staff Survey, along with the Staff Friends & Family quarterly pulse checks, we will be focusing on certain themes that have been identified and exploring them further. Your contributions to these SO Proud conversations are also very much encouraged and welcomed.

Yhe OD team are happy to come along to one of your staff meetings/ training days to facilitate a short focus group on our SCOPE values, if you think that would be beneficial to you.

Pop along to a “Big Brew” – we are at staff restaurants in both sites each month, (dates will be advertised via the Meeting Place  and Trust News), so just turn up, have a biscuit and some sweeties, and give us a few minutes of your time to answer some quick questions about what it’s like to work at the Trust and what ideas you have to make it even better.

All your thoughts and ideas will help the Trust to focus on the things that make Southport & Ormskirk NHS Trust a better place for our patients and you.

New dates for 2020 coming soon...
