We are excited to announce that registration is now open for our unique national 2 day Hackathon for Care Homes “Collaborating to Improve Care” will take place on 13th and 14th July 2016 in Liverpool.
In response to the Five Year Forward View and the creation of vanguard sites nationally to improve patient care at scale and pace across the healthcare system the Chief Scientific Officer Prof. Sue Hill OBE and the healthcare science workforce are collaborating with the Innovation Agency in the NW to support care homes and find innovative solutions to everyday problems they may have.
What is a hackathon? It’s an interactive , energised, multi-professional, practical 2 day event that brings together professionals from a diverse range of backgrounds to work collaboratively at pace to solve some of the everyday issues that care homes are facing.
Who can attend? Anyone that feels they have the ability to work as part of a team and produce a winning solution to problems care homes are facing today.
If this appeals to you then please have a look at the flyer and follow the links to read more about the new approach of “hackathons” that are a brilliant way of tackling problems in the health and care system. Registration details are also on the flyer.
The event is free but will require you to fund an overnight stay and travel, places are limited so sign up today!
We look forward to meeting you at the event and working through the challenges that care homes are facing together.
