We are taking this time at 10 years to both look back and look forward as a community. Seeing our proud history of connections, collaboration and co-creation reminds us to be optimistic and, as always, open to new and fresh approaches to our collective challenges. This month’s spotlight is on Health and Wellbeing - Supporting you to support yourself #HWBNWLA
Health and Wellbeing is fast becoming a key focus across the public sector for both individuals and organisations, as they find themselves in increasingly complex environments.  Across the North West, the ask is bigger than ever. Our anniversary page is available here and features a blog from Compassionate Coaching facilitator Amanada Super looking at Self-Compassion at Work: New Year, New Start!
There are also a selection of photos, videos and an interactive notice board available on the page, please get in touch and let us know how do you look after your own health and wellbeing at work? How could we support you to support yourself? And how can compassionate coaching support your team and the wider health landscape?
The NHS NWLA will be releasing ongoing Health and Wellbeing opportunities to support our members, look out for new information around this in our regular monthly comms and updated on our website, including the Perform @ Your Peak offer mentioned below.

Below are the additional highlights for this month. Please see the menu for full details and further opportunities.

NEW - Health & Well-being l
Perform @ Your Peak
Perform @ Your Peak is open for applications as part of the NHS NHS NWLA's Health and Well-being Programme #HWBNWLA. This exciting and innovative project promotes an organisational culture that fosters individual and team awareness and responsibility for health and well-being, identifies how this relates to ‘Peak Performance’ and results in improving the quality of services. For more information and to book, please see the attached menu.

Emerging Leaders: Everywhere, Every Day Mobilisation Event
Thursday 1st February 2018
We have been working out loud with a group of diverse voices to shape our future approach to emerging leadership.  Now we want to bring a group together where we will move to action.  At the event we will focus on how we make the group's ideas a reality and there will be an opportunity for people to become part of an emerging leadership community to deliver on this agenda.  For more information and to book, please see the attached menu.

NEW - Conditions for Community
Online Space, Events, Podcasts & more!
We are interested in learning from you about the conditions that enable you to connect, collaborate and co-create – however you think about working together – both within and across traditional organisational boundaries. There are many ways you can be involved – complete our survey, join the Facebook conversation, view the weekly discussion themes and podcasts, or express an interest in attending our event. For more information and to book, please see the attached menu

Festival of Leadership: Headlined by Jeremy Heimans
Thursday 1st March 2018
Victoria Warehouse, Manchester
Join us at the first ever NHS NWLA Festival of Leadership on 1st March 2018, headlined by Jeremy Heimans, Co-Founder and CEO of Purpose. We will explore the relationship between ‘old power’ and ‘new power’, consider how new power can be used to spread ideas, lead movements and enable system and organisational transformation.  Experience our exciting ‘fringe’ area taking place across the day in which colleagues from our North West leadership community will be hosting a diverse collection of unique, challenging and provocative sessions on key themes. See the menu for more information. @nhsnwla #NWFoL
