| The Trust is keen to support 2 staff members to attend the next cohort of the NHS Leadership Academy Mary Seacole programme, due to commence 10th November, 2016 and finish 10th May 2017. The Programme: The Mary Seacole programme is six months long with 100 hours of online study, plus three face-to-face behavioural workshops delivered in Leeds - Thursday 8th December 2016, Thursday 2nd February 2017 and Thursday 30th March 2017. Successful completion will lead to an NHS Leadership Academy Award in Healthcare Leadership |
- Looking to move into your first leadership role
- In a ‘formal’ position of leadership with responsibilities for people and services
- Able to relate what you learn to your workplace
To be considered for one of these funded opportunities, please complete the application form and include a 500 word expression of interest stating why you believe you should be considered and return your application to Tracy Gunn, Head of Education & Training by 5pm, Monday 5th September 2016. Successful applicants will be notified as soon as possible and invited to apply directly to the Academy by the 6th October 2016.
PLEASE NOTE: Managers and applicants are advised that in the event the applicant fails to attend any of the workshops or complete the programme, the Manager will incur a £995 re-charge to their department’s budget.
