The app is supported by a companion website http://www.dementiaendoflife.co.uk which provides supportive information; users can download a certificate of completion, take part in an evaluative survey, access an extensive document library or watch podcasts to learn more about living and dying well with dementia. https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/living-dying-well-dementia/id945365520?mt=8
The second one “Hearing Voices” has been devised as a guide to understanding helping and empowering individuals offering support to address the issue of hearing voices that others around them don’t.
A central feature of the app simulates the experience of hearing voices to provide a deeper insight, empathy and understanding. Users are engaged in a number of cognitive and social tasks whilst listening to recordings created by people who actually hear voices. Podcasts of people who hear voices are also included allowing a number of stories to be heard. Supporting text, reflective prompts and interactive exercises are used to enhance the learning experience. https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/hearing-voices-guide-to-understanding/id940439985?mt=8
