The day itself is an introductory level simulation training day; you don’t have to already be able to run a manikin or be able to write scenarios. We need a team with a range of different clinical backgrounds, with enthusiasm and a passion for education.
There are 10 places available on this day and we are looking for clinical staff from across the multidisciplinary team, who would like to become involved in simulation education, to get in touch.
We are asking that anyone wishing to apply could provide a short summary (500 words or less) outlining why you would like to become involved in simulation education.
Please return applications to – firstname.lastname@example.org for consideration by Wednesday 10th August. All applicants will be notified as to the outcome of their application by Wednesday 17th August.
All potential trainers must also be able to meet the following criteria:
- Be able to complete 3 precourse elearning modules prior to the study day
- Be available on Wednesday 28th September to attend the training day
- Be able to commit a minimum of 4 days per year to support simulation education – this must be agreed by your line manager
