Working in partnership, the Advancing Quality Alliance (AQuA), Mersey Internal Audit Agency (MIAA), NHS North West Leadership Academy (NHS NWLA) and the North West Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (NW ADASS) are delighted to bring to you an opportunity to explore the policy and principles of place based systems of health and social care whilst also exploring local journeys from across the North West region.
Professor Chris Ham, Chief Executive at The King’s Fund will bring focus to the principles of place based systems of care and draw on national and international examples utilising a whole system approach. Warren Heppolette, Executive Lead for Strategy and System Development at Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership intends to share with you his experience of what place based health and care looks like in practice.

During the half day interactive workshop, participants will discover how system change can be achieved through essential elements such as place based collaboration, cultural alignment and new forms of system leadership.
Participants can expect to hear further insights and thinking from across the wider North West region as additional contributors will be confirmed shortly.
